How big or how small can the metal art signs be?

Size can impose a limitation. Details are difficult to produce on very small metal artwork. Larger metal art signs are normally not a problem. Signs up to 42 feet have been manufactured by Torchcraft™.

How long do the metal signs last?

Metal art signs will last indefinitely provided they are properly cared for by keeping them painted.

How thick is the metal?
|

The thickness of the metal artwork is 1/8" to 3/16" normally. Most outdoor metal art signs are made form 3/16". However, if the design allows, the 1/8" thickness may be used if weight is a factor. Thicker gauges can be specified, such as 1/4"

How is the metal art painted?

The metal art is typically painted with a primer and then the color of your choice for the top coat.

How are the metal artwork and signs delivered?

The metal artwork and signs can be picked up by the customer, shipped UPS, or common carrier.

How can I make payment for my signs and metal art?

Payment for the metal art is made by check, cash, money order, major credit card, or paypal.

How is price determined for the metal artwork?

Price for the metal artwork is determined by the size, thickness of metal, and the amount of detail and characters included in the metal art sign design.

How are metal artwork orders placed?
|
| |
When a customer has an idea for a metal artwork sign, they may contact me by email or phone and discuss what it is they would like. I can give them a basic estimate for that sign or metal art. If the price of the metal artwork is acceptable, then they will then send 1/2 of the quote as a deposit. Then I will create a computerized draft of what their metal sign will look like. The layout is exact. They will then have the opportunity to change anything they like; size, characters, fonts etc... I will continue to redesign the layout until they are satisfied. Then I will complete the order and the balance due on the metal sign is paid before shipping or at the time of delivery.

How are the metal signs made?

All metal signs are hand torched using an oxygen/acetylene torch. There are no employees. Your metal sign or metal artwork is personally made by me from start to finish.

Can I send you a picture of a person, animal or object to be cut out of metal?
|
| |
If you have a quality photo of something you want to be included in your metal sign, like a person, animal or object, I can reproduce that as shown in many of my metal artwork examples in the metal art gallery.

How are the metal signs installed?
|
| |
Metal Signs are made to install in pretty much any configuration that will make installation easy for you to install yourself. Brackets can be made to fit over your pipe gate that bolt on, tabs to weld to your structure, or chain links welded on for your hanging needs. Normally, I do not install metal signs. Installation of metal gates and metal signs can be contracted, and a recommendation for a high-quality contractor may be made.
